Description

Spirit Creature design. ^^
I found an old lanard pony
(they're a form of knock-off MLP, here's what they look like- give or take, this one was customized:goo.gl/j099r0j)
and got inspired. ^^

Eqcross(plural, eqcrosses)
(Eck-cross)
Element:Alpha
An equine-shaped spirit creature. Originally an eqlet, it strides gracefully as it walks. It's mane is long and lustrous. Bears strange cross-shaped pupils. It's rarely opened mouth is lined with razor sharp fangs, used to gnaw at more stubborn plant life. It appears to have no mouth when closed.

Eqlet(plural, eqlets)
(Eck-let)
Element:Alpha
An equine-shaped spirit creature. Toddles about on four, long, gangly legs. It's mane is somewhat short and thin. Bears strange, cross-shaped pupils. Appears to have no mouth when closed, but is visibly lined with stubby fangs when opened.

         Out-of-Story-Information:

- Inspired by that Lanard pony and colorful ponies in general

- Eqcross is a combination of "equine" and "cross", eqlet being the eq from eqcross combined with the suffix let, which is used in the names of some baby animals, such as an eaglet.

- Naturally, would be an equine if it were an actual animal.

- A number of animals that eat plants actually DO have razor-sharp teeth; just not of the pointy-scary variety.

- The invisible-except-when-open mouth was a happy accident: I couldn't quite place the mouth, but after placing the other features realized the design actually looked better without one. Go figure. No idea where the fangs came from, though.
